Why commercial mold is different

Mold in a commercial setting brings tenant complaints, indoor-air-quality questions, and sometimes regulatory exposure. Our scope always starts with inspection and air sampling so the remediation plan is defensible. We document the moisture source, the affected materials, and the containment plan before any demolition begins, so the carrier and the building owner have a clear paper trail.

Containment that protects occupied space

We build hard or poly containment around the work area, run negative-air HEPA scrubbers so airflow only moves into the contained zone, and use decon chambers for crew entry and exit. Adjacent suites and shared corridors stay clean, and tenants in unaffected areas typically see no disruption.

Clearance testing and turnover

On larger projects we coordinate with an independent indoor environmental professional (IEP) for third-party post-remediation verification. We do not declare a job clear ourselves on jobs that warrant outside testing - a separate IEP signing off protects everyone. Final reports include lab results, photos, and the moisture-source repair confirmation.
